A Star Is Born! "Sutaa Tanjō!" (スタア誕生!) is the first episode of the Pretty Rhythm anime
Aira stumbles upon her younger siblings watching a Prism Show on TV then goes out to buy fruits for her dad's cake shop. After she attained the fruit she began mix matching the clothes on the manicans at the clothing shop in the mall. She doesn't realize she is being watch by a talent scouter named Jun. A girl almost runs into her while she was thinking about how much fun it would be to be a prism star just once, and they both do an amazing spin jump to avoid collision as Jun watches in the sidelines, amazed. After the girl runs away Aira is taken by Jun, who sees potential in her. Due to Mion not going through with the prism show, Aira and the girl at the mall, Rizumu, are put in the show as Prism stars. At first Aira is terrifed at being on stage as Rizumu is confident and starts but she could not do a Prism Jump. Then suddenly Aira's costume started to sing and Aira performed without realizing it. She also manages to perform her first Prism Jump, which she called "Fresh Fruits Basket".
